Born in 1968 in West Bend, Wisconsin, Nathan grew up where the summers were mild and the winters were harsh but fun. In 1980, he was replanted in West Texas, where he found everything harsh all the time, yet still managed to have fun living dangerously. In 1989, Nathan moved with his high school sweetheart to Austin, Texas. Nathan managed to have fun anyway, though he may have blacked out during much of the "fun" part, which included engineering sound for Austin clubs, playing in various bands, and studio work.
Nowadays, Nathan is astonishingly mostly sober independent audio engineer, a self-taught musician (various instruments), photographer, multimedia artist, graphic designer, painter, writer and cartoonist. Nathan is also the curator of an experimental avant noise singularity called XathaX and owner of cyber tomb Distortedsky Wreckordings. While doing all this, Nathan still manages to live in a modest apartment while he types his bio. He often has eerily realistic dreams - recent guests have included the future, alligators, furniture, unrequited love, medical auditoriums, endless repetition, joy, snowmobiles, and visitors from outer space.
On this page you will find many of the creations Nathan has produced for your enjoyment.
